1. Look at the pictures and read the information.

CATS are intelligent.

THE LITTLE DOG  is fat.

DOGS are friendly.

In English:

To talk about animals, things, people... IN GENERAL, DO NOT USE THE.

Examples:

CATS  are intelligent (in general).

DOGS are friendly (in general). 

To talk about SPECIFIC animals, things, people..., USE THE.

Examples: 

THE BROWN CAT is angry. (a specific cat, the brown cat)

THE LITTLE DOG is fat. (a specific dog, the fat dog).

WORD BANK (BANCO DE PALABRAS):

small, big, fat, black, fast, white, happy, crazy, brown, wild, strong, sad, ugly, good, cute, mysterious, bad, dangerous, nervous, lazy, short, lovely, tall, energetic, timid, brave, interesting, slow, adorable, old, clumpsy, funny, curious, orange, stinky, quiet, adventurous, popular, smart, loyal.

2. Write your name and use the WORD BANK to write a comment about ONE GENERAL characteristic, and ONE SPECIFIC characteristic about cats or dogs. Utiliza el BANCO DE PALABRAS para escribir una característica GENERAL y una característica ESPECÍFICA acerca de los perros o los gatos.
